Lots of ducks and geese. They've just added a large playground area with an exciting ship children can climb around on. There are several new swings. I usually take my mid-day lunch and walk around the park and other than the 4th of July, it...More

This is a small wooded park, quiet and pleasant. Picturesque views across the lake, a few picnic tables. If you're traveling, this would be a good spot to stop and stretch your legs and let the kiddies run around. Just seconds off of Hendersonville Road.

Great place to test a kayak. It does require you to purchase a launch permit, but very quiet and peaceful, and usually not many people there. Looking forward to spending more time on it in the winter time when the water is warm.

Very nice park with a nice lake. Boat rentals available, kayaking, picnic areas and playgrounds. Swimming is not possible in this lake because of undercurrents.
