About
As early as the 70’s, Ever Gotesco initiated the “one-stop shopping” building along the university belt at CM Recto Avenue. It houses the Gotesco Cinemas, Ever Department Store and Supermarket and various fashion and food outlets. Ever Gotesco pioneered a lot of things in the retail arena. Ever Gotesco was the first one to lump it all together in a one-stop shopping center style. The success of this concept led to the rise of four branches of Ever Gotesco Malls located at Caloocan, Commonwealth, Recto and Ortigas Extension. As a prime mover in the retail industry, focusing on the special needs of the family as a social unit, Ever continually strives to give its clientele an optimum product mix-ensuring maximum customer satisfaction. EVER GOTESCO MALLS Nestled within four of the country’s busiest business districts, Ever Gotesco Malls have always been a landmark of tradition. With millions of shoppers to cater to, a million different tastes to consider, Ever Gotesco Malls knows about giving the public what they need.Being situated in strategic locations, Ever Gotesco Malls is the anchor establishment of its famous Ever Department Stores, Ever Supermarkets and home to leading retail stores. It has traditionally upheld serving the public to its fullest extent, aggressively facing the most demanding trends in shopping and malling. It is constantly on the lookout for fresh ideas to incorporate in their marketing strategies, unwilling to find itself behind the competition but always in the middle of it all.Ever recognizes and values that the core of its shoppers are family units, hence, Ever has positioned itself to be of greatest service to them. As a prime mover of the retail industry focusing on the special needs of the family as a social unit, Ever today can truly be called the home of Great Family Shopping.

The first Ever Gotesco Malls were great even if they were smaller than the SM malls of today but I guess they were mismanaged and they turned into Divisoria type malls thats why most of them are already closed ( except for the Commonwealth branch ) and I've noticed that the Ever Emporium that was located at Samson Road ( along Monumento circle ) was not declared in their list of malls...what could be the reason?

This is the place where most people living nearby in commonwealth have already went inside this mall or we say supermarket. There are many available marketings, such as accessories, clothings, equipments, tools, gadgets or etc to buy. And also a good place for fun for those kids even older people, going to tom's world (a place for fun)

I am still unimpressed with this shopping mall because most of the space are being occupied by vendor on the hallway, not enough space for shoppers. Also, I noticed that the rest rooms are no longer for free You need to pay 5-10 pesos whenever you have to pee or poo. Anyways, comfort rooms are clean but sometimes the odor isn't good.

Compared to its old look and reputation, Ever Gotesco commonwealth is revamping its look. New restaurants on their Calle Bistro and the lay out of their tiangge fromting the grocery is better.

Tip:
- if you need to pay bills, instead of queuing at BayadCenter, try the western union just infront of DIY or at LBC lower ground.
- If you need your watch fixed, get that done at the stall infront DIY. Or any stall on their grown floor with watch repair service. DONT GET YOUR WATCH FIXED on any of the stalls at the lower ground with watch repair service as they charge an arm and a leg, especially that stall infront BDO.
- Parking at the Calle Bistro side is a challenge specially during weekends, but on the other side there are always an empty slot for you.

This mall is in need of a major renovation last time I was here I was here with my family for my cousins birthday when we were 7, 17 years later this place still looks so old the signage and the paint plus the metal coverings for the vents may chip or fall at any moment

I ate at the local fast food here which is weird since I saw 2 branches in 1 mall (not good for business)

I went to the arcade area still looks fun to play in but please remove the old games or replace them with new versions cause the game I played (time crisis 2) I felt that I was going to get stigmata, the price per coin is 5php so it was a good deal I suggest if you want to play here you bring a lot of money since there are some games that are new here.

Lastly the vibe inside the mall feels like an abandoned factory but with lots of people which is weird the lighting was inadequate it feels way too dark

for shopping this is a great place to shop since it has all the essentials albeit old stock looking essentials if ever you need somethings this mall may have it for you

final word please please please renovate this place also keep the old castle aesthetic

decent sized mall. many entrances that lead you into different parts and floors of the entire building.

has just about everything you would kind of need and want. there's sometimes events that happen here but security does a good job controlling foot traffic during these times.

also a lot of options for transportation as well. jeepyney and bus start/end at the mall and just on the other side of the street there are trikes that pick-up/drop off as well

security is good. felt safe and welcomed each time i went here.

Dont tnink I would be planning to return ri this mall. While parking is free, the area is dark and not well lit. The dept store didnt contain much choices esp in terms of sizes. Items were also quite on the low-end Hence, prices were relatively cheap. Lots of food choices but all quick service plus food stalls. Need to be patient because lines can be long. Best to try Turks (chickeb wrap at Php60), DQ ice cream, Dunkin Donuts for quick snacks. For dine in, go to Shakey’s. One of the best outlets of the chain because of their pizza here. Bot my type of mall however.

This place seems to have it all and very close to our townhouse. From drug stores, grocery stores home improvement to banking, and of course the always present food courts and individual restaurants. My wife enjoys the options for clothing and shoe options.
