I grew up going to this church since my father was from Sta. Ana. Bring back a lot of memories. Very historical church, worth the trip.

An ancient church to visit which is sadly slowly decaying. I would urge everyone to google the history of the location before visiting so it has real meaning to you.

One has to go out of their usual way during a Manila city tour to reach Santa Ana Church. It is easily accessible with excellent roads, except during peak rush hours (7AM-9AM and 4PM-9PM) weekdays. One can also take fast boat along Pasig River and walk a few distance to the church. Reaching the church will be worth the trip,... More

One of the best well kept historic site outside Intramuros. The facade has been recently refurbished.

This review is quite late. There a many old and historic churches all over the Philippines and the Santa Ana Church in Manila is one of them.

Sta. Ana church is probably one of the ancient churches in the country. The church's facade has been newly restored giving it a really nice look. But what one must see is the Camarin of the Virgen delos Desamparados which was declared a National Cultural Treasure.

The church facade was being repaired when I visited. But then the beauty of the church exteriors is evident with the sides. The interiors are also spectacular. When I visited, it was Holy Week and the faithful prayed over the station of the cross set-up on the church grounds.

It is one of the many churches included as National Heritage. The facade is being renovated right now.. The church has newly installed tv monitors... Im lucky that i live in Sta. Ana Manila coz i love old churches so much.

My wife and I were married here Dec. 20, 2012. They had just finished doing a touch up outside the day before our wedding. It was so amazing when the doors opened when my wife walked though. It was just like the movies.
