One of the few preserved mosques in the city. Calm and peaceful surroundings . The tombstones in the courtyard adds to history of the mosque.

Very nice place in the capital of Maldives , a place where you find history and spirit of Islam. I liked so much.

We visited the Friday Mosque on a walking tour of Male. The coral carvings were nice. The walking tour billed as 2.25 hours lasted 40 minutes and was a complete waste of time. The guide was terrible, uninformative, and cut the museum and fish, fruit...More

Nothing to see here as non muslims are not allowed inside.Outside view is not good. Better to skip it.

Male' is small enough to walk around. You will likely get off the main jetty , walk around the republic square, the main mosque and local market . Walk in wards to where the tourist shops are. and then to the friday mosque... More

i wouldnt recommend in male....you rather should stay in maafushi and take a ferry ride to do a day tour....male is not worth staying. if you are coming to maldives you are.not going there to see the crowded streets...you... More
