It is a distinctly white building near the National Monument. The Malaysian Parliament is of the bicameral type, consisting of the Dewan Rakyat , the lower House and Dewan Negara, the upper house. A member of Dewan rakyat is called Member of Parliament whereas a member of Dewan Negara is called Senator. To visit the inside of Parliament, we had... More

The structure looks great but tourists are not granted entry, good for a drive by if your heading to the ASEAN sculptures or the monument as they are close by. Enjoy honeycomb art that is Parliament House.

it is located near the Kuala Lumpur Monument. it is white in colour and it is the only building in this area surrounded with beautiful landscape. Since it is the House of Parliament you are not allowed to go in without a valid reason. This is the place where members of parliament meet to pass bills of legislature. it is... More

The Parliament House stands on a hill across from Lake gardens and the National Monument. Built in 1959, it has a distinctly white honey-combed tower. It stands on 35 acres of land and even has a deer park. Visitors must first obtain prior approval to visit and they can watch a parliament in session. Best photographed from across the hill... More

Can't get past security. Can see it in the distance. Building looks okay. nothing special. Slight walk from other sites in the park. If you're limited on time, don't have to see it.

A national monument, very nice building. It is possible to go inside the parliament, but you have to apply for permit online at the website (http://www.parlimen.gov.my/eperkhidmatan.html?uweb=p&). Once approved via email, print that and you have your entry permit. There, they will take you on a tour, even into the Dewan Rakyat (Lower House/House of Representatives) and Dewan Negara (Upper House/Senate).... More

From far it looks majestic and big, up close its actually quite a slim building with unique façade and roof design. The place where we expect parliamentarians talk sensibly, usually not the case nowadays.

It is not far from Tasik Perdana. Beware if you do not know the road there. Police will assist you anyway if you not sure your way out.

Nothing fanzy, same old buildings what we have in our country, but best to know that they are able to preserve it.

Yes, nothing to see here. Just another parliment building like anywhere else. Unless you want to see Malaysia's elected representatives driving in and out if you're lucky.
