Fabrics and gold are thebthings here we have bought both and of course bargaining is o.k. gold jewellery is aimed at the indian visitors and locals and is designed in indian fashion.

Bought so much from this place! Good value for money to buy hijabs as gifts as i have a lot of ppl to gift, i think i bout about 35 hijabs alltogather and it cost me a fraction of the price i would have to pay in london! Quality is good too u also can haggle but they dont give... More

If you have a very short time to visit Kuala Lumpur, go to this street, you can shop for all type of cloths from the shops on the street, or from the nearby mall, Sogo Shopping Complex... What I like about this place is the lively atmosphere of people of various races, Malays, Arab and Indians selling and buying everyday wares like clothing, jewelry, food, trinket, etc. On weekends, especially, you can enjoy enjoy street music played by a group of visually-impaired musicians. We saw pre-war shophouses and modern buildings. The place is exciting, vibrant and packed during weekends. We saw people coming here to shop for sarees, jewellery, fabric and food.

Always a busy location with jewelry & clothes shops. Local food stalls with reasonable price. You can find locals stuff during Malaysian festival time like Hari Raya & Deepavali. Good visit during festive seasons.

so many place to shop (muslimah wear)..... better stay at hotel nearby if u want to shop here....crowded during weekend...ramadhan and deepavali festival.

Here you can taste local food for cheap price.. Also can find clothes for reasonable price. Not far from dataran merdeka (500m)
