We visited the National monument and we were very impressed with the set up, entry, surrounding park and of course the actual monument. There were many visitors but it never felt crowded. The photo opportunities were everywhere. From the monument there was also a beautiful view. The funny detail that we all noticed was the statue was given to the... More

It is a nice place. You can see the whole Kuala Lumpur from here. There a ice cream counter in front of this place that have a signboard with many languages which is so interesting and funny.

There are two memorials here. The first is a British one, mainly the First Worl War. The second is for Malaysians killed, but in local style.

Great little arvo activity, bit of a walk around, nice to read the history of the military. Interesting displays and statues, but the mosaic work was amazing.

Very nice place. we had travelled in the month of september and it was scorching heat there. Climbing it from the front gate till the monument was bit tiring. The place does not offer much to see except the monument. there's also a fountain on the back side of the monument which is quite soothing.
