I read that Bintang Walk is KL's premier shopping, dining and people watching street where trendy shoppers are in abundance. There is a plethora of outlets, dining, coffee shops, gift & souvenir, shops where there is something to suit all pockets, malls, etc. and also that great vibe from the crowds present.

Just like every major city which has at least one major shopping/dining district, this place is no different. As expected this place is crowded- full of shopping malls, hotels & dining. Prices in KL are not cheap but is still a must go to place when there.

This is the main shopping district of Kuala Lumpur. Here, there are Pavillion Mall, Lot 10 Shopping Mall, Sungei Wang Plaza, Starhill Shopping Centre, Fahrenheit 88 shopping complex and various shops and restaurants.

My wife and I walked along this area several times during our recent holiday in Kuala Lumpur, where we stayed at Berjaya Times Square Hotel, within this area, for 9 nights.

A very busy place full of shopping lots and malls for those who enjoy shopping with easy via the local mrt lines and also plenty of eating places offering lots of local delicacies and fine dining as well. Make it a 2-in-1 shopping cum visiting batu caves or the Twin Towers too. Beautiful decorations ready for Christmas

Lively area with so much things going on, from live shows to market stalls. So many restaurants and cafes. No doubt it’s a must visit, and not just once.

An air conditioned walkway linking the Pavilion with KLCC. It makes the journey walkable in the extreme heat but it’s not as cool as you might expect. I’m a regular user and without it I would never shop at KLCC!

A great place with a lot to do. Very accessible with all the public transport available. Could literally go on a shopping spree here.

The locals would probably not frequent this place due to the traffic and the crowd. However, the Pavilion remains an attraction to both locals and tourists.

If you do walk along BB, be careful of touts, pick pockets and guys might be approached by pimps. Quite a seedy part of KL especially towards Jalan Alor side.

The Bintang Walk was a bit confusing for me, so it’s basically another name for Jalan Bukit Bintang, in the Bukit Bintang district. I’ve walked on and past this street so many times and never realised it was an attraction itself for its similarity to Julan Sultan Ismail, perpendicular to it. The main difference is that this street has more upscale malls and hotels, boutiques and for some reason, lots of middle eastern restaurants.
