It has become a significant landmark and symbol that identifies Malaysia as a great tourist destination of the millennium and at the same time a testimony of Malaysia’s capability in the building of high technology facilities.

Located atop Bukit Nanas at a breathtaking height of 421 meters, KL Tower was built blending the tower seamlessly with nature. Bukit Nanas is one of the oldest permanent forest reserves in Malaysia. It was gazette in 1906 and was formerly known as Bucket Weld Forest Reserve. Covering an area of approximately 9.37 hectares, Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve is the only remaining virgin tropical rainforest in the heart of the city of Kuala Lumpur. Serving as the green lung of the city, Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve is also home to an abundant of flora and fauna of the Malaysian tropical rainforest. In fact, KL Tower is the only tower in the world located within a forest!

KL Tower is in the hospitality and business experience industry. It offers experiences such as viewing, dining, nature, adventure, event and shopping. Current products and services offered at KL Tower include Observation Deck, Revolving Restaurant (Atmosphere 360°), Mega View Banquet Hall for Meeting and Seminars / Private Functions such as Wedding in the Sky, Mini Theater, Amphitheater, F1 Simulator, Blue Coral Aquarium, KL Tower Mini Zoo and MKL Performing Arts Group.

Alternative view

You get an alternative view from the Twin Towers. However, space on the tower is very small especially when it gets crowded.

Fantastic view, value for money & no time limit. The glass floor which extend over the side is spectacular as long you don't suffer from vertigo. The security guard was very helpful & friendly in taking photographs for us. Thank you.

You get a nice view of Kuala Lumpur, but I find the visit a little pricy. They have scary "glass boxes" on two sides of the tower, if you consider challenge yourself. Stupid system when going down can and will create que, be prepared.

Visited here as part of a tour. The highlights are that there was no queue and that the skyline from the top is amazing. However, there is no information at the top pointing out what the key sights are, and a lot of kl skyscrapers look like that they were designed on minecraft.

As this tower is higher than the Petronas Towers, you do get a better view of the city, however, we did think it was expensive. If you arrive there on the Hop On, Hop Off bus, the guides will really push for you to buy a 'discounted' ticket from them. What they don't tell you is that this 'discounted' ticket... More

If I had to decide again I would rather book the tickets to twins tower in advance and get there. It was quite good organised but we were waiting for 40 Minot get to the highest deck - they were cleaning floor. It's really high so you enjoy the view from up but once you get there and it's about... More

Go early on a bright day. Have a bit of a lark with the photographers who swarm like bees around a hive( there are other similes involving flies/canines but let's avoid them) and you will consider this money well spent. So much to see, exposed from the air and you can look at the Petronas towers close up, which you... More

The revolving restaurant has afternoon tea for about 65 ringitt each. Only a bit more then the observation deck. You get to sit in aircon for 2 hours and enjoy tea and coffee with food. Buffet was nice selection. Its well worth it. You can go to observation deck after. Book online for restaurant on their website.

No queing and very efficient movement of visitors to the lifts to the observation decks and back down again.Fantastic 360 degree view of KL, the suburbs and countryside beyond. We went mid week so it wasnt too busy as we dont like crowds. It wasnt expensive either and probably cheaper and less busy than the famous Petronas Towers.

There are 2 ways to reach this place, either by Hop on Hop off Bus or take a Taxi. Although Tower is the main attraction but they have created many small places for entertainment (Mini Zoo, Mini Aquarium, XD Theatre, Upside down House) and the tickets are really expensive. Out of all the so called attractions, I realized, only Sky... More
