If you are looking for cheap imitation handbags, shoes & t-shirts this is the right place to go, otherwise stayed clear.

Chinatown is the most crowded place in KL, you can buy many things (mostly knock-off brands) for cheap prices, you can get fruits or juice, fresh juice, you can eat here as well (although I do not recommend it), get a tattoo, piercing and a lot much more. Across the street is an LRT station (Pasar Seni), Puduraya bus station... More

I've been to several markets in Chinatown all over Asia. This place is just the same as the others. You will find copys of everything here. If you're looking for quality, continue. A lot of restaurants in the area, nice to sit down and observe people.

All I can say is the price of the overall market is not too expensive but in another point of view, it's more for tourist, the market itself sells a lot of gadgets and souvenirs. When it comes to shopping, it's definitely more for girls but as for guys, you may also come here for sightseeing.

I didn't really enjoy Chinatown, Petaling street was crammed full of stalls, you can barely walk down the street and it was full of the same stuff, fakes watches, tshirts, bags etc. We didn't stay long

Chinatown is way too crowded. But thats the way it is:) So many things to see. Either shopping for cheap clothes or to have dinner/lunch. Lots of small restaurants there too.

This had a lot to offer in terms of its side-street stalls and coffee shops. We ate our way through Chinatown!

Very little is Chinese about this area. No Chinese supermarket. This area really is for tourists wanting to shop in Petaling Street markets. Things are actually cheaper in the surrounding shops then at the market itself!
