We wanted to get some appropriate gifts for friends and colleagues, This was a very good choice. We found some unusual items which everyone loved. Prices were quite reasonable after we bargained a bit. Lots of food choices so we ate lunch there, too.

China town with its roof lighting and market is the one of the main hubs for shopping. Bargain and cross checking of products is a Must. T shirt, woman cloths, bags etc are top seller. Nice to walk around during evening time

Street stalls selling replica goods like handbags, watches etc Make sure you don't pay the asking price...If you're paying a third of it, you're probably still paying too much. A fun experience if you're into that kind of thing

I Really enjoyed walking through the open air market and bartering with the vendors. The Chinese later a gave it a festive feel.

Be alert. There is lots of thives. My brother in law's chain was stolen in front us and we couldn't do anything. So be careful. Leave all your belongings at hotel before you go there.

This supposedly Chinatown is kind of a contradiction - most of the stall traders are foreigners and not Chinese. The atmosphere just feels not authentic. As more and more original Chinese traders move out and subcontract to the foreigners to operate the business, the original charm is eroding. Some of the food stalls ans restaurants are still operating there, albeit... More

If you want to shop for cheap souvenirs, clothes and stuff, head here. Do bargain. Do not miss on the street food especially the traditional gourmet.
