- Sangeeta ShahMumbai, India776 contributionsReview of Petronas Twin TowersOne of the most beautifully crafted towers that I have seen so far. We visited here yesterday night and wondered at the structure from the outside only as we reached at late hours of night. We will surely visit again to take the inside tour, to view the beauty of the KL city from top. Overall one of the best experiences and coming here was worth it.Visited December 2022Travelled as a coupleWritten 27 December 2022

- BridstowPeterborough, United Kingdom880 contributionsStunning viewsA Petronas Twin Tower visit is a must if visiting Kuala Lumpur. Having failed in our bid to buy tickets in advance before leaving the U.K. we met a local tour guide who recommended getting to the towers early and buying in the day. First to arrive and at the front of the queue an electronic display shows the days forthcoming tour times and number of tickets available. We decided which was our preferred time and were first at the counter when the box office opened. We got the tickets we wanted and had a fantastic time. The views are as you would expect …. stunning. There’s no time to hang about as the tour keeps moving so plan your visit and enjoy. That said if you can buy tickets in advance it will save the queuing and remove any uncertainty. Look out for the Mercedes F1 cars on display on the ground floor.Visited October 2022Travelled as a coupleWritten 14 January 2023
- TonyBHelsinki, Finland105 contributionsBeautiful building, but don’t get ripped off from photographersVery cool buildings that will look good even after 50 years. If you want to visit the upper floors take into account that it’s closed on monday, other days open but highly recommended to buy tickets online to make sure there is room for you. Feel a bit ripped off from the wide angle photographers but whatever since I was traveling solo at least I got a nice picture.Visited January 2023Travelled soloWritten 16 January 2023

- Vanessa3 contributionsVisit to KL TowerThis is a must see attraction for any visit to Kuala Lumpar (KL). We booked tickets at the KL Tower for the next day. Over 60s get a considerable discount which cannot be obtained online but you must show proof of age. A photo of your passport is acceptable. For two over 60s, we paid 100 ringgits (about £10 each).Don't take any notice of what the website tells you about ticket availability. It was showing no tickets left, but that was not the case. The lift upwards is very quick and the views from the Skybridge observation walkway were stunning. It is even better at the top. There is a cafe on the way down. We had coffee and took in the fabulous views over a relaxing drink. Visit the gardens, paddling pools and childrens play areas at the rear of the KL Tower. The kids love the paddling pools. At night, the fountains are lit up and there are shows synchronised to music.Visited February 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 6 February 2023
- LadyTeeeeUnited Kingdom33 contributionsAverage visitWe'd visited the King Power Mahanakhon in Bangkok for its views and 'Glass Tray'. This had brilliantly presented information, wasn't busy during our visit and was very good value for money plus you were allowed to stay as long as you wanted. The Petronas Twin Towers visit was rushed and very expensive given the quality of the experience. We were chased out having had our 15 minutes in each area. Sadly a rather dull and average experience.Visited February 2023Written 12 February 2023
- LeonhknyHong Kong, China14,204 contributionsLandmark of Kuala LumpurThe encompassing twin towers is easily the most identifiable landmark of the Malaysian capital. A mark of Kuala Lumpur's emerging affluence in the twenty-first century, the Petronas Twin Towers remains neat and clean after two decades. Do reserve tickets in advance for those interested in getting up.Visited February 2023Written 18 February 2023

Definitely worth an actual stop here and not just passing by in a car or bus to see these two towers from the front and back. Need to be careful walking to the front of the Petronas Towers as there is a lot of food and car traffic at the intersection. Also, watch out for people trying to ask you to take professional photos of yourselves in front of the towers via digital while the fountains are going full blast, especially when it gets dark. Lot of police guards seen at the entrance area.
Make sure you return here after the sun sets as the views are so different from the daylight hours. Walk in the doors under the Petronas Towers as it will lead you into the KLCC Suria Mall- where there are several floors of shops, restaurants, and other services in an air-conditioned setting. From the first floor of this mall, you can link from a set of doors to the outside for a view of the back side of the Petronas Towers. It is especially bright and colorful at night with the synchronized colored fountains at the KLCC Park Symphony Lake's 10 min. musical light show at 7:45p.m. and 8:45p.m. everyday. A view to remember here in Kuala Lumpur!

Not only are they a symbol of the country's cultural significance, but they also feature many modern amenities. The towers have conference rooms, an art gallery, and are lit up at night with a spectacular light show. The towers are a must-see for anyone visiting the area, and a reminder of the beauty and culture of Malaysia.

The iconic structure is not only a symbol of Malaysia's progress and development, but also a testament to the country's rich cultural heritage. Not only that, the towers are set against a backdrop of landscaped gardens and an art gallery, making it a must-see destination for locals and tourists alike.

The pricing were extremely cheap, the staff was really pleasant, and the souvenir shop was not that pricey either. My recommendation is that you come here rather than going to the KL tower.

The most recognizable structures in the world can serve as a rich wellspring of ideas for creative types. The Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur are often regarded as the pinnacle of architectural achievement in Malaysia. An absolute need while in Malaysia. A paradise for anyone who enjoy shopping and photography. It is recommended that you set aside a minimum of two days to discover everything that this building cluster has to offer.

The gleaming steel columns and aluminum spandrels make the towers stand out against the skyline. Inside, there's a shopping mall, offices, and even a skybridge connecting the two towers. Come experience the beauty of these incredible structures!

A must visit location whilst in Kuala Lumpur. The Towers started to be built in 1993. 452 meters high. Japan (Tower1) and Korea (Tower2) from March 1993 to 1998. Opened in August 1999. 41st floor bridge between two towers. Oil and gas offices at higher level. 86th floor viewing for 15 minutes. 83rd floor for souvenirs. Entrapment filmed here with Sean Connery & Catherine Zeta Jones. Views were limited on our visit due to rain and low cloud.

It’s the most famous building in KUL so you sort of have to see it. Avoid the men trying to take photos for you they change a fortune. Inside the towers is a big mall so plenty of food and shops. A great food court with great prices is inside.

Saludos

Hello Esha G. There's no easy answer to your question. Not every visitor will have the same question. Your's is more of a hypothetical question. If you got a job at The Towers, you'll surely be trained in all aspects of your duties. But I reckon most visitors would want to know how to book for the tour to the top. I trust this is helpful. Has anyone from the US figured out a way to purchase e-tickets directly from the official Petronas Towers website? The options offered on TripAdvisor are much more expensive than the actual ticket cost. Unfortunately the Petronas website does not accept Visa, Mastercard, GooglePay, ApplePay or even payment from any US banks.

I went at lunch time to Petronas basement ticket counter and got a 3pm slot no problems and the shopping centre had the best food court ever. Staff were very helpful

Добрый день! Скажите, если купить билет на сайте, надо будет стоять в очереди в кассу, чтобы получить билет? Или можно сразу проходить на экскурсию к назначенному времени?
