This excellent museum tells the story of the Christians in Nagasaki and their martyrdom. There is a peaceful chapel to honor their memory and many interesting exhibits.

Understanding the history behind the martyrdom was fascinating. Nice monument in the city that considered as the center of christianity in a country that has less than 1% of christians.

Interesting history of Christianity in Japan. Only the second place I have ever found a church and relics (Sapporo also has a Christian immunity). Worth a look.
