This is a good place to walk and dine. There is a museum and park where you can chill out, too. There are numbers of places to eat along the wharf. If you have time, I would recommend to visit there twice; day time and night time. The view's quite different. The night view is really nice. If you have... More

A beautiful place to relax - take a short stroll and have a bite by the sea. For a restaurant, we highly recommend Kaisen Ichiba. It is just besides Dejima Island, so easy to combine with a tour of this important historical site. Or if your hotel is nearby, it is a nice place for dinner and the evening lights... More

Sitting outside one of the small restaurants at Nagasaki Dejima Wharf. Enjoying some good food and a glass of wine while looking at the people walking by, the view to Mt. Inasa, the park and the bay of Nagasaki is worth trying and can be strongly recommended. After a long day discovering the magnificent attractions of Nagasaki the Wherf is... More

A vibrant and pleasant part of the city with many restaurants, cafes and bars. Great place to enjoy good food with perfect view on the busy harbour. I have tested several restaurants and cafes and all were pleasant.

After a day of sightseeing we visited the war area, had some authentic Sashimi with some great Japanese beer. There are several spots to stop at and all looked pretty good. The sun sets in front of you so if you got later in the afternoon you can get a nice sunny spot to watch the sun set over the... More

This is a sort of boardwalk between a park and a shopping and is a pleasant place to walk by the harbour and look at the mountains (and I saw a lot of dog walkers). However, it was very quiet during the week, even on a Thursday night (albeit rainy) and that must be partly due to the low-quality, high-priced... More
