Shinsaibashi is a long walking street in Osaka bordered with many shops and cafes. The shops sold a huge variety of things such as cosmetics, shoes and clothes. It was a long lane which was covered but not enclosed.

What is Osaka if not the Shibsaibashi shopping street. Shaded from the hot sun and cooled by air condition it is a great way to see shops as well as Osaka residents going about their day. There are a variety of shops and the restaurants...More

There's Zara and Uniqlo. The variety will depend on the season you visit.

There is definitely a Disney store in Shinsaibashi it's marked on Google maps, it's not a Disneyland store but it sells some of the same merchandise, not as extensive as actually going to Disney itself. When you exit... More

Shinsaibashi is more of a shopping street rather than for kids. If you want children-friendly attractions, I would recommend the Osaka Aquarium instead.
