There’s a market here. I’m not quite sure if it is every day or a specific day but there are a lot of good finds here. We went early in the morning and had some sweet ginger tea for 100 yen; definitely a must! The...More

Said to be the oldest Buddhist institution in Japan, Shitennoji is a fine example of traditional Buddhist architecture. There are multiple halls and gardens, with a beautiful five story pagoda at the centre. Definitely worth a visit.

We just returned from our 10 day trip in northern Vietnam with The Terrible Tour Guide Travel. I have to say, the company exceeded my expectations of what an agency would do for us. Joey was very quick to answer our email with helpful information...More

This was our first Japanese temple experience on a walk from Tennoji to Osaka castle. It was a very quiet temple with lovely sculptural elements. Because there were no tourists early in the morning, we experienced it primarily as an serene place of local worship....More

There is a fee if you want to enter the temple inner surroundings. But if you remain outside, you don't have to pay.
