Overall the entire place was great for shopping especially clothes and shoes. Very trendy street arts everywhere. The vibe is definitely for the young and young at heart. Lots of second hand shop for authentic limited edition shoes and fashion trends. The locals who hang...More

My wife and I visited this place on April 22, 2017 in Osaka, Japan and were very disappointed as the buildings around this area were quite "run down" in a way. We didn't even sure if we were at the right spot that morning as...More

We visited here as missionaries, which was great and badly needed. Lot's of foot traffic and little shops. Kind of a creepy atmosphere almost. Not dangerous but just not necessarily a good place for children. Critter's Burgers was awesome but most of the shops are...More

This place is the only place in Japan i have not felt safe. Whilst i have never been to America, I imagine this is what it would feel like walking around the ghetto. This place is filled with Chinese and Koreans and really has nothing...More

Lots of shops, for sports wear / surf / skate visit Spotaka. They have an indoor skate park as well. America Mura is just across the road from Shinsaibashi.

This place has a lot of noise, loud music here and there specially at night. Better to visit in the afternoon when the sun is setting. Many clothing shops around. There are lots of restaurants, desert, cafe shops and bars around. Ideal for teenagers

I ALMOST felt too old to hang around this area as it seemed full of ueber hip teeanagers but it was just too much fun to roam around and explore all the little alleys and check out the bizarre wares on sale.

There were many shops to see. 2nd hand shops had some tshirts that were worth buying. Takoyaki was nice too. Spent whole afternoon walking around. Bought some things for myself as well as shoes. Unique finds.

The fashion here is more suited for the teenagers to young adults. It was also quite strange to see Afro-Americans speaking fluent Japanese language in this area. There are so many eating places here, you will be spoilt for choice. My nephew spent 2 days...More

I have seen some people complain that the area is not much like Harajuku, and it more like a street hip hop, heavy metal area....um......exactly. It's an alternative, sub culture scene area. That's the point. If you want to see all the crazy fashion.....then go...More
