The castle is certainly impressive from the outside but we felt a little disappointed with the insides. A good view from the top though.

This is the latest iteration of this Castle built in the late 20th Century after others were destroyed. But to really get the best understanding you should find a volunteer guide from the Osaka guiding clubs and get one to join you. It will make...More

We are there to visit Osaka Castle and the park . Quite tiring to climb up the stairs to the TOp (about 6 or 7 stories in order to have a great view - lift access to mid floor and long queue)

Amazing view from roof top floor, giving visitors 360 views of the surrounding Osaka castle, a war museum & souvenir shop inside about the Japanese army history. The elevators also available & free for elderly and handicapped visitors. I visited inside and direct to top...More

Rich in history and cultures back in the days of the Shogunate. Lots of samurai costume at display highlighting each individual warrior who wears it. A place worth visiting to know more of Osaka history during the feudalism era.

Must-see attraction, so enchanting and peaceful. Lots of interesting history and surrounded with beautiful landscapes. Prepare for the uphill walk to the castle itself. So beautiful indeed!

Castle opens and closes as stated 9-5, i think your find the grounds outside the moat are open 24 hours? main reason being they have venues nearby. The grounds inside the moat are locked down.
