Worth taking a trip around the park. We hired bikes and rode around. The view from the top is lovely but I wouldn't bother going inside if you can't use stairs as the line for the lift is extremely long.

We went to see Osaka Castle and grounds. It was a very nice museum with great aerial view from the top floor. We had a nice stroll around the castle grounds.

We dint have time to visit the hemji caste so chose to visit the Ōsaka castle.. the place was good.. and we had a good time

I saw lots of shops you can rent kimonos and they were 20-30 US dollars not sure I saw any samurai rentals but I'm sure they are around.
