Best place for cherry blossom viewing ! I visited Osaka Park, Japan Mint during cherry blossom period but think this place is the best suitable for family outing as the long stench of road along riverside is beautiful and not as crowded as the two places mentioned. The environment is very relaxing !

We enjoyed the cherry blossom along the river bank here very much, it wasn't as crowded as we thought it might be on a Sunday afternoon. A stroll along the river brought fresh perspective every turn, even though the sky was rather cloudy. Buy a Bento set and bring along a mat to have a picnic under a tree, just... More

This park is far from subway station. Walking distance around 15minutes from station to the park. The best thing is less tourists. Many picnickers in the park, mostly is locals. We catch nice sunset at here and saw lots of passengers taking aqualiners. Sakura trees are extended along the river on both sides.

Small metropolitan park,Very nice Sakura Blossom immediately when entering on both sides of the road. Best time to visit last week of March and first weeks of April. In the mountain regions you may extend the Sakura period.

This was the outstanding place for enjoying cherry blossoms of all of the places we went. The trees extend for a long stretch on both sides of the river. There were many picnickers but this park was very tame compared to Ueno Park in Tokyo.

Fantastic place to stroll along the river and enjoy the cherry blossom (when in full bloom). Food stalls also line the area so you might spend more time here than expected.
