It's a relatively small covered market with food and commercial stalls. We walked around and found it a bit too touristy to eat. We instead walked towards the covered mall which is closer to the station for better deals and food.

I used to get up at 8 am and the market was already open. And I got back by 10 pm and was closing

To be specific the nearest subway is Nipponbashi, an interchange station. The Kuromon Market is situated next to it. If you are in Namba area, just walk over. This is a covered market, so you are safe in a rainy day, except... More

I visited early in the morning 9ish., full of atmosphere even then. I would imagine in the evening would hold special surprises and memories.
