That place has got so much to see and savour (literarily). The produce is unbelievable and the stores gives out samplings. Vegetables are so fresh and big. The number of creatures from the sea that they sell is eye-opening. Some of the shops also serve what they sell. Go ahead and try cos its as fresh as it gets. Lots... More

Interesting little market. Fresh seafood and beef available to be cooked at various vendors. I was very excited to try some love beef which unfortunately was totally over cooked at the store we picked. Somewhat pricey. Never the less still enjoyed walking around the market.

Worth to be there to savor the Japanese beef, crab or fuku in a smaller portion. Lot of tourist there so could be packed sometimes.

You have to go early early, it gets super crowded by 11am. Again this is one of those must visit places. The sashimi and sushi are really fresh. Love the grilled scallops. There is a store packed with Japanese snacks at a really good price and lots of selections.

It's a great place to sample Osaka's seafood straight from the vendors. Got to taste Otoro sushi at less then half the price you would normally pay for in Tokyo. Also got to taste great Kobe beef to start the morning right.

It's like your local markets however, you can purchase raw products to which the people cook for you. If you're allergic to beef or seafood like myself....unfortunately there isn't much choice for you as these are the popular meat products in Japan, however you can always visit just for the experience as I still had an amazing time

The location is good, easy to assess. My hotel was just a street behind. And we hv been there twice in 2days. There are numbers of stores selling Japanese local fruits, groceries and most specifically seafood. We tried a store in the middle of the market selling sashimi, sushi, abalone. Food is yum and fresh. We also brought lots of... More

Beat the crowd and head down early! A lot of local food - seafood and snacks. Best place to try out their Uni, Oysters and Tuna.

This is the 4th time we have been to Kuromon Market, and we always come back for more. Contrary to some of the review I have read, we found the food here to be very cheap. The Sashimi and Sushi here on food stalls are cheaper than what you will find in the restaurant, and much fresher ! You will... More

Kuromon Market is not very big and the food price are expensive but it is locate next to the Namba district, very convenience and easy to go. It only takes 10mins from Namba station to there. Grilled kobe beef are expensive but sushi are fresh and size are big, which is USD15-30 per box. Highly recommend and it is a... More
