This castle was rebuilt according to the original plan after the WWII and is highly recommended to visit early in the morning. You can get a 360 degree view of the surrounding area on the top level.

Take the time to walk around and see the great contrast between the old castle and modern big city in the background. Take pictures from further away, since to close it's too big

Wonderful cultural heritage exhibit of the city and the history of the country. As a foreign tourist with no knowledge of Nippongo, I was disappointed with how few English translations they have made available for the exhibits. Even audio visual portions were all in Nipponggo, with little regard for the non-Japanese. I wish they could try to cater to other... More

A nice scenic view around the castle, great to sit down, grab a matcha tea and watch the locals go about their business.

We were here in autumn so the park had so many different colours on the trees so it was a great walk to see all the pretty colours.

The castle and castle grounds are really nice. You can walk around the grounds for free and then pay entry to go to inside the castle museum and viewing platform. It's perfect to get some culture in and also see a pretty view of Osaka.

I honestly preferred the park over the castle itself. Lots of trees and wide green spaces - lots of families using the space during the weekends. Near the castle is a cluster of food trucks/ice cream vendors/that sort of thing. Lovely place to spend some time walking or relaxing in the sunshine.

The views were excellent, enjoyed walking around the castle and surrounding moat. The cherry trees were not in full bloom but some had come out. Was great and the smells were awesome. Must see if you have the chance

I am very partial to walking through this park or simply putting a blanket down and enjoying a beer or two with good friends. During cherry blossom season, it certainly gets a lot more crowded but still plenty of room if you don't insist on sitting directly unnder the Sakura.

The Castle Grounds are gorgeous and more importantly cost nothing to visit! It's a nice place to slow and leisurely walk and contemplate. Easy to access by JR. Visited it twice and enjoyed it both times.
