Arrived very excited to see this park because ive heard great things, particularly since i hear there is an english audio guide. However, when purchasing my ticket i was greeted by a stone cold person who obviously more interested in taking my money and shoo-ing me away. When i asked if there was an english guide (i hear from many... More

This is a nice trip for a warm day. It's a 20min walk from the train station. The castle itself is nothing special on the inside. It's been rebuilt many times and is very modern. Grab a bowl of ramen at the little restaurant near the entrance to the castle and enjoy the day.

The castle is a must see while in Osaka. It is surrounded by great tall walls and Moets. Many birds especially ducks are swimming in the water, the trees/flowers are beautiful along the back. Good place for a jog if you are a runner. The Castle itself is majestic with gold craving of Tiger and a real photo shoot for... More

I think this is an obligatory visit when you are in Osaka, even if it's full of tourists the place is so beautiful, it is worth going there. The Osaka castle by itself is beautiful, and you'll find many small food stores and souvenirs to buy on the way, the trees and overall nature is so calming. and there are... More

The grounds and outside structures were a lovely place to stroll around especially with the cherry blossom in bloom. The castle itself is a museum inside, so you don't get a feel for once it was like within. It does cover a fascinating items from Japanese history in great depth- one of our group found it dull and dry (I... More

Seen one castle, doesn't mean U have seen them all! Joined a long Q after lunch to enter Osaka Casle. Only whenI got there did I find out that the original castle had been burnt to the ground. There were some original parts standing, but the rest was rebuilt with modern machinery, cranes etc. there are even "lifts"(?) installed I... More

The castle sets in a huge area, it is very nice to walk inside the park if you have spare time, but it is at its best when the cherry blossoms.

A lot of events are held at the park and is one of the popular places to view the cherry blossoms. If you have the time you can have a picnic and relax under the cherry trees. It's in a very central location so it's easy to get there.

Originally going to give this attraction a miss and only attended due to the closure of the aquarium, this was an amazing experience for my first day in Japan. Absolutely beautiful castle, and the museum inside was well worth the money. The park itself was expansive and really worth taking your time to walk through. Loved my entire time here.

Visiting Osaka for the first time was a great experience. Walking through the park and discovering their culture is truly and amazing thing to do in Osaka. I would gladly visit the Castle Park in the future again.
