The Temple is located near the Nagano Station and there are shuttle bus from the station to the temple. The temple is very traditional with a beautiful garden. There are many restaurants and souvenior stores around the temple. It is worthy to visit !
I should have researched before we went because I missed the underground maize. Enjoyed looking at the cultural heritage and walking around the area. Seeing the bell being "gonged" was my favorite part.
