Great way to see the historical sights of Kyoto. We had such fun cycling, too! Our tour guide, Jack, was amazing - so knowledgeable, provided such comprehensive information. Would’ve done a second tour if time allowed! Highly recommended.

Just did the bike tour with Lianca. It was great fun. The tour was a very good mix of popular (still amazing) places such as a golden temple, and more secret ones, cycling through the quiet paved streets surrounded by temples was my highlight. Lianca...More

There is not much else for your mother to do except walk to one of the nearby temples. It is a quiet neighborhood area. I don't know taxi cost. We went by train and walking. I would guess $10-15.

Hi! Kyoto is cold in the winter but we still run the tours! Our guests usually come prepared with gloves and a warm jacket. With best regards, Ross
