Quiet local temple with lots of statues and trinkets of boars/pigs! Lovely temple, there are benches where you can sit to rest..Could not resist buying a wooden plaque with a pig on it!

If you stayed near Gion, especially east side of Kamo River, you'll find a lot of temples in one neighborhood. One of them who devoted to boar, Zenkyoan. You wouldn't find a lot of tourist, instead some local people praying in this temple. It's quiet...More
