Kaori’s cooking lesson is a delight. We all thoroughly recommend this class as a way to learn about Japanese customs and seasonal food. And we all enjoyed eating our sushi, salad, rice balls and soup.

This is is the perfect place to learn about Japanese cuisine and customs. We learned so many new things and it was a lot of fun as well. The food was great and we couldn't have had a better host.

First time ever making sushi and everything turned out great. The teacher spoke fluent English and was very knowledgeable about the traditions and customs of Japanese cuisine. We had a class of 5 students and everyone had a good time.

No district of Kyoto is quite as representative of its
