I enjoyed Rica's insider feel of Kyoto and her lively commentary on our half-day tour. She gave our small group a vivid sense of Kyoto's heritage and also contemporary Japanese life, answering our questions well. She also suggested good eats.

Yes, we made 3 stops at various Temples and/or Shinto Shrines and were able to take photos THERE and along the river there is time to stop too. We also took one stop for pastries which our guide Lulu provided 3/4 of the way... More

We did the walking tour which did begin and end at Kyoto Station. It included both bus and train and walking, very enjoyable tour, pleasant and informed guide.
