Geisha spotting...But we didn't see any.... The architecture was fascinating though.... There is even a house with a tree growing through it.

We visited here and it was an enjoyable walk. It was about lunchtime and relatively busy as well as raining but that didn't distract from the amazing architecture and the quaint street.

Very Kyoto atmosphere....you will not experience anyplace like this in other parts of Japan....the other place in Japan all try to mimic this area.
