Nice shrine with a beautiful statue in the front, the shrine itself is lovely but the real gem here for me was around the back. Walk around the shrine (along the decking, shoes off area) and there is another building. Pay a small fee to enter and there are about 15 ancient statues inside. There was lots of work being done on this sight but it was in good shape and yet another lovely temple. I would visit the larger places first if your short on time.

Arrived on the third of January, I planned to come here for a prayer of good fortune. This temple offers annually on this day, just this day, a kind of healthy tea, included matcha, kombu (kelp) and Ume (plum). The tea was charged in 300 yen w/ a paper omamori(御守). Small shrine with a beautiful Buddha statue. It's worth a visit to see the intricate paintings on the roof top of the shrine
