Starting from 10th of April 2017 the Main Building will be closed due to upcoming renovation work and only the Annex will be open. The renewal opening of the Main Building is scheduled for fiscal year 2019.

Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art is currently under intensive renovation while the main building had been closed for public under the estimated completion by early 2019.

No English info about was a bit confusing and obviously changed since previous reviews. Seemed to be four separate paid exhibits - we pad 500yen for a small mixed Japanese exhibit which was good. There was also a Salvador Dali which was 1500yen. No care...More
