Lovely and peaceful. Was well worth taking the time to walk to it. Access from the station and walk at the back of the station. Will be a bit of a walk uphill. Or if you prefer, do the ropeway and visit on your way...More

Worth the climb. Crazy to think these falls are right behind the city! Signage not ideal, but find the 'tunnel' right outside the station (bottom floor) and go from there.

Nice place to wonder and get away from it all. It's hard to believe that it is on the doorstep of the city behind Shinkobe station. Quiet, bush, and a good size waterfall. Awesome.

Go up by cable car to the Nunobiki Herb Garden and walk down past the waterfalls - beautiful! Very steep so if you would prefer to climb up, then do it the other way round. You need to go on the cable car one way...More

If they'd let me go swimming I would score it a 5/5. I recommend you take the gondola up the hill and walk down 45 minutes, totally worth it.

I wrote about these falls under my review of the Herb Gardens and Ropeway, and I agree that this place is really enchanting and beautiful. I just wanted to add that this fits in with a half-day trip up the ropeway and walking down the...More

The beautiful waterfalls are located within a park, which is a 5-minute walk from the Shinkobe station. Reaching the waterfalls (there are at least 3 of them, by the way), involves a lot of stair climbing, and while you do not need to be too...More

Chairlift was excellent, visitor numbers were low for the time of the year, cooler than down in the city, try the lavender soft serve ice cream.

There are very limited parking spaces that I saw near the park. And by near I mean you still have to walk quite a distance.
