Definitely a different way to look at Kobe. Great views but remember to come in walking shoes! There is a herbal footbath towards the end of the walk - bring a small towel too!

A very pleasant trip up the Ropeway (Cable Car) to the visitor center and start of the botanical gardens and the walk down. A very nice afternoon in and around the gardens high above Kobe and the Osaka bay.

I took the cable car to the top of the garden but didn't go any further There are different rope ways and I think yours may be a different one

HI, I saw the advise said that shin kobe is the nearest to reach ropeway, and some comments said sannomiya station, which one is nearest to reach there as we with 2 kids.

Shin Kobe station is the closest. You can take an elevator straight up from the Shin Kobe subway station. If you arrive by Shinkansen at the Shinkansen Shin Kobe Station it is about a 10 min walk to the subway. Sannomiya... More
