many nice shops, with difference food and non-food. restaurants, coffee-shops, but sometimes busy, especially on rainy days. In the heart of Kobe, easy acces by train from surrounding areas.

A treasure trove of food & shopping. You can get anything from 100yen discount shops to shoes, desserts, cakes, coffee to clothing or even noodles and makeup!
A great place to shop and long long streets. Quite a good place to wander about and spend time shopping & eating.

Stretching from Sannomiya Station to Tor Road, the undercover shopping walkway contains a surprising mix of local and international stores, large and small. There's Uniqlo, Zara and other big name shops and boutique small shops. An interesting stroll - but beware, it around 8:00pm in the evening.

It's a long shopping street with a lot of shops, selling a wide variety of goods. with some restaurants. It's clean, well looked after and well covered by roofs so you can walk comfortably even when it's raining. But the shops are opened quite late and closed quite early. Some shops are opened at round 11 am and close by 5 pm. So the best time to visit this place is from 11 am - 5 pm.

Don't bring your girlfriend / wife here because they will go crazy with all the shops there. If you do, prepare to bring a trolley bag or something. I went there with my partner and I immediately regret my decision as she bought so many cosmetics stuff and I end up having to carry all the bags for her. Because of that, I'm giving it an average rating.

Anyway, my partner mention that the cosmetics there is cheaper than the ones sold in Namba Osaka so do take note if you're shopping in Kobe/ Osaka.

Maybe I'm easy to please, and I do like shopping (and I am a man) but the Japanese attention to detail is superlative. Every shop you enter gets you a welcome from the assistant and a thank you for visiting when you leave even if you don't buy anything. If you do make a purchase it is beautifully wrapped in a way that makes a westerner weep at the poverty of service we receive in our own country; in my case the UK.

神戸では一番有名な繁華街。
気軽にショッピングを楽しめる。
価格も低~ちょい高めまで色々ある。
やや女性向けの店が多いイメージ。
地下に入るとグルメも楽しめる。

Most popular street in Kobe.
You can enjoy shopping.
The price is not so high.
And also you can enjoy some food at B1 floor.
But maybe most people couldn't speak English.
It's better to go with guide or translator.

When in Kobe walk around Sannomiya. Lots of different shops and eateries, both upscale and local. My yen disappeared at the Tsumori Chisato counter at OiOi and a delicious Kobe beef lunch near the station .

It is a shopping & eatery strip that stretches past many intersections and maybe 2 or 3 train stations. Many specialty shops, big and small. Should be able to find most of the things you need if you managed to completely walked the whole stretch.
