    Wonderful for kids!
This was a great and meaningful activity with kids (probably best for 5 & older to construct the origami crane). The tower is a work of art, and we enjoyed everything from the elevator experience going up to the origami tutorial and construction to standing on the glass floor and floating our cranes down the exterior glass wall. The view from the top is fantastic, but its design with the sloped floor is so unique. On the 12F floor, there are a few interactive, life-sized games for kids to enjoy, but the best part was sliding 12 floors down to the ground floor (walking the ramp or taking the elevator are also options). Truly a unique experience, and I'm so glad we visited!

    Excellent employees, beautiful views
Beautiful views of the Peace Park. The highlight for me was Yuta, one of the employees. He took the time to talk and to explain about the tower. It was a good experience, made all the better by the personal touch. Thank you.

    Peaceful and powerful
Simply, in our books, this is a must-see. As another reviewer said, this is not a typical city observatory. The architects and designers did a beautiful job creating an environment to observe and think about Hiroshima. It's clear that those who created the observatory deck and tower envisioned a place for people to reflect.

I went in in early evening. I was warned the cafe at the top was closed but still went to see. The view is pretty but the safety mesh net makes taking decent photographs impossible. It is a decent place to sit for a bit but the cost of 2200 is too much for that. The room for making paper cranes is nice but again not free to make (I assumed you'd get a free paper given the entry cost). I took the slide down. It stops at every floor and it's design mesbs that you batter your right elbow at every corner no matter how you sit (at least as a solo rider).
Pretty views but not worth the cost.

This tower provides you with a view from the 5th floor over the dome and park with the museum in the background. It is supposed to represent looking forward instead of looking to the past. There is a section where you can make origami cranes . The significance is the little girl who came down with leukemia from the bomb kept making cranes hoping she would get better. Her mother kept hiding the cranes so her daughter would make more hoping that would help her daughter live longer.

You need to pay admission to enter and take the elevator up to the 5th floor.

You can see the hospital that was ground zero close by.

There is a slide from the 5th floor down to the ground level for those who want to take it.

There is a large gift shop at the bottom.

This was part of my tour of Hiroshima. You go up to the top, Roof level and there is an open air observation deck which overlooks all of Hirsoshima, the A-Bomb dome and Peace Park. It's beautiful. Then when leaving you can easily walk down 12 flights or you can do a spiral slide. A lot of kids did this and were having great fun. At the bottom there is a good tourist shop and restaurant. Don't miss this!

Nice pano view from the top which viewing is sloped to allow everyone access to the views and not just those at the railing. Activities include a wall from which you drop paper cranes, a sloping walkway down with murals and an indoor slide from floor to floor.

This was a highlight when visiting Hiroshima. You feel a sense of peace amongst such a reminder of tragedy. There is an insane view over one of the only buildings to survive an atomic bomb, and it is a piece of great architecture

A wonderful observation deck and some floors of interactive activities including paper crane making where you get to drop it into a huge window and it falls several floors.

Your day ticket also gives you free entry for the evening where a bar is opened and there is a wonderful ambient setting to enjoy a peaceful drink.

My girlfriend, dad and brother went here just to check out the rooftop that we noticed from the street. We didn't know that they had a number of other things included with admission. We had a wonderful time and we're very impressed!! The Japanese girls working there treated us extremely well and taught us oragami. Then they introduced us to a guy named kevin who worked there. Talked with him for a while and it was great asking him questions about life in Japan, as he was from the United States and were interested in his story. Super awesome person!!!! Then we got to take the slide down from the top down! Really cool! I would definitely come back here again!!! Highly recommended!
