From one end of the park with the Sapporo TV Tower to the other end with the beautiful Rose gardens, the park is full of activities and exhibits during the summer months. We were here in July. There were Beer gardens with food, tables and...More

A very pleasant place to stroll and relax. During our visit various beer brands were preparing tents for their annual beer event. One block of the Park for Suntory, another for Sapporo, the next for Kirin, etc. We were told the tents still needed due...More

Was very happy to be there during the snow festival. To take in the atmosphere with everybody else around me for the food galore, ice sculptures, thick snow, cold, etc.. it’s different from where I come from, once in a lifetime to experience snow in...More

Its central location in the city centre makes it a convenient stopover for a rest, to chill or to visit. At one end is the Sapporo Tower and observatory. When we visited, preparations were being made for a beer festival.

The park is very near to the Sapporo JR station. The writer took about 6 minutes of walk to there where had many department stores nearby.

There is a rose garden dedicated to Sapporo's sister city in the United States-Portland Oregon. Take time to sit down, admire the flowers and the wonderful people. Various statues and fountains are scattered throughout this aesthetically designed park.

Went there in the last day of Lilac Festival and disappoint since it was done a day before. But there are still some stalls and since it was pouring rain the whole day, we have to 'splash' our way around. The park is long and...More

Lovely park in the middle of Sapporo. It goes through est to west of town, surrounded by the very modern skyscrapers and the TV tower. During winter is used for the snow festival. It is a must if you are in Sapporo

If you are visiting in the summer, maybe not very long, half hour to one hour, depends on how long you want to take photos or just simply enjoy its beauty. Susukino is just a few blocks away.

Sadly looks like nothing. March & April generally don't have anything special. You will however get to enjoy the park itself though.

the park is in a contained area and as the other reviewer has said...you can move around easily underground with ease of access to all department stores & exits.
