This is a very nice museum. It is easy to get to as a bus leaves the JR station going directly there every 30 minutes. The cost of the bus is very minimal.The historical information is well presented. They have a free tour as well...More

Get to know the history of the beer and a little of Japan. You can see the first ads which are very interesting. But the best part is the dinner at Bier Garten afterwards!

Interesting historical artifacts and photos of beer. This is a museum is simply laid out and offers places to rest and shop. The tasting room was closed when I visited.

If you are in a hotel have the front desk call for you, unless you speak Japanese it will be difficult otherwise. Enjoy!

If travelling in winter it is better to take a taxi instead of walking on the icy slippery pavement. Taxi rides are no less "exciting" though but you will be seated instead of walking =)

They have free dropping by and premium guide tour. If you prefer following a guide, you gotta pay at front house counter on the day you visit. Different languages with different time slots, and mainly in Japanese. No advance... More
