Translations are in English, do at your own pace. great museum and the area has 4-5 places to eat and they are all great! Avoid the wine served if you don't like beer (me). worth the trip!

Not a big museum, again with limited English, but we can make out what it's saying as we go along. Free self guided tour and reward yourself at the end with a beer. Pretty nice place, especially when the grounds are covered in snow. Try also the restaurants nearby for a delicious Genghis khan meal.

This is an awesome place. It gives you the whole history and origin of Sapporo Beer and how it progressed through time. There is a place you can enjoy beer and buy souvenirs on the lower level too. Nice!

Going here is Via Tohoe subway line then exit at Higashi-kuyakusho-Mae station. Upon exit from the higashi-kuyakusho Mae station, turn left. Then just walk straight for about 10 mins then turn left when you see the Lawson station, a convenience store. Then to your right, you will find the Sapporo beer museum. Entrance at the Sapporo Beer Museum is free... More

Traces the history of the famous Sapporo Beer. The history of Sapporo Beer mirrors the progress of Sapporo itself. The fun part is a the end of the tour, for a small fee, one gets to savour 3 types of Sapporo Beer. Must try Sapporo Classic - which is only available in Sapporo.

Entrance is free and there's nothing to do other than looking around. Building is well maintained and the BBQ is recommended .

Went here and spent some time wandering around the grounds. Really interesting and worth a visit. Great restaurants on site too and a giant Xmas tree if you are there in Winter.

We would have given this attraction 3.5 if that were an option. The Sapporo Beer Museum is set in a lovely building. Although small, it attempts to give a good overview of beer history in Japan -- which largely centered around the Sapporo company until post-WWII, when they were required to split into two (spinning off part of the company... The museum is fairly difficult to get to as the only public transport there is by bus. Walking from the JR Sapporo Station is possible but will take you about 20 minutes, longer during winter. The Premier Tour is only available in Japanese. Foreigners would have to make do with the free tour. There are information leaflets in English, Mandarin... More

We visited this attraction as we have some spare time in Sapporo and we are not disappointed. The architectural building of the beer museum is very well maintained. The entry to the museum is free as we opted for the general tour. Next to the museum is the beer garden where you will be spoilt for choices on the various... More
