If I have not visited this place,I would not be able to imagine how Hokkaido is like in the old days. It is awesome that the Govt. makes the effort to preserve the old buildings. It is a great place to visit.

I don't know. However, I think most people only use the transport once to get back to the main square after they have walked the main road of the village.
