This is a small long narrow park that is on both sides of a small canal in the middle of a divided shopping street and is a welcome addition to the street but nothing special. It also hosted a festival when we there to add a little more interest.

This narrow strip along the Sosei River and Route 5 was renovated in the late 00's to add green space to the downtown and to provide continuity between the Odori area and precincts east of the TV Tower. Unfortunately, the park is hemmed in on both sides by the noisy Route 5, and it hasn't unified the downtown at all.... More
