We were here for the festival and it was nice to get out of the cold and walk underground. There were different areas to shop and walk around. As a visitor, I thought it was something unique and really cool to explore all the far reaches of this underground space. You could spend hours and hours walking around and exploring... More

These underground pedestrian walkways are really a blessing to people like us who are not used to the cold freezing weather. Glad that Sapporo have a really clean, nice, well-lit, and interesting underground pedestrian with shops that remind you of things that you might need.

The underground walk is supe convenient to move around. We practically walked around from sapporo station to odori to susukino and back easily. As the underground passage way also brings u short cuts to different shopping streets like tenokoji, pole town, aurora, nijo matket etc.....

Great place to walk around and people watch. You cannot go hungry here! There are many great bakeries to choose from in the space.

We spent 3 days in Sapporo and used the walkway all the time. Very cold outside and the underground is long and has tons of shops and cafes. So great in the winter.

Sapporo Underground Pedestrian Space is well developed and connected, easily to walk from here to there without exploring out during winter; you can find eat, buy and shopping along.

If you are arriving in Sapporo by train, you will not miss this place. This is connected to the JR Train station. The underground walkway is spacious and connects to all of the major malls around the area. There is also lots to eat and do in the area.
