In October of 2018, the famous Ginkgo trees had not turned yet (due to a hot summer), but it was still a pleasant place to have a leisurely walk.

We enjoyed the walk through campus. The grounds are lovely, but it's not worth making a special trip. If you want to stroll around a park, I would suggest Odori Park, where you have a lot of eating and drinking options along the way.

The campus is very nice. I visited during summer so it was green and nice to walk around. I also visited the Botanical garden (entrance fee needed) of the University located a little far from the campus.

Beautiful, tree-filled campus with old buildings - it's attractive in all seasons and well worth a walk, or even getting a rental bike and cycling around it (It's big, but flat). In October the fall colors are lit up in a special event, in summer...More

A little bit early, I guess. My friend came on 18th.Oct last year: good timing and earlier than usual. Usually late in October. It depends on though. And I'd like to mention Nasty Smell. Warch out the nuts !!

This is a wonderful place for autumn leaves, especially the Gingko Avenue. There are cafeterias and restaurants in the campus.
