We went there in March and it was marvelous. All trees and bushes were in blossom and the smell of Magnolias everywhere. The park, is big, clean and a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature.

A good retreat from the hustle and bustle of big city. Informative but not as good as I imagined. In my view it was ok.

These gardens covered a huge area, of which we only covered about a third of! They were very pretty, with a lake area and pavilion cafe area.

Some of the plants were a thousand years old (according t my calculation). It was a truly amazing experience to even try to imagine the age of the trees. It definitely was worth seeing

We used a taxi. Taxis are really cheap in Hangzhou. Geographically, it is on the west side of the West lake (Hangzhou) .
