Simply another pleasant spot on the side of Xihu to take a stroll. A steady stream of people makes it a fantastic place to sit and observe the world. Skip it if you have a busy itinery.

Part of the West Lake and the Botanical gardens. We visited beginning of August and the weather was suitable. Nice shooting location and a path just below the lake surface making the people appear walking on the water. Fun to be around for 2-3 hours.

This is a beautiful place to visit on your visit of West Lake. It can get crowded, and someone is always selling some infernal noisemaker to children, but it is a beautiful place. Must visit when at West Lake/ Xihu.

Very traditional Chinese garden park. Truly beautiful inside out. Best time to see is in the early morning, with fresh air and quiet environment.
