I've been here walking around many times. The lake isn't bad at all. In winter time you get to see the very popular and most famous foreign guests in Kunming the seagulls, while in spring time is full of colorful different flowers and lotus. During night time is very popular to run around the lake or if go in the... More

Excellent Park! Lots of water and attractions for kids. Many boats to ride and food stalls everywhere. The paths and bridges are beatifully laid out! I had a wonderful and relaxing time wandering around and finding relaxing places to sit and read.

This is just an average lake, nothing special. It is usually crowded, so if you are looking for a peaceful outing, maybe this isn't the place to go to.. Some decent coffee shops nearby.

Cui Hu is not to be missed if you are visiting Kunming. Besides all the great restaurants, markets, and shops around it, the lake park itself is amazing. As you wind through the park you will find street food, vendors, and best of all tons of traditional and ethnic performances and music. Everything from Opera, traditional instruments, ethnic dances, Tai... More

Saturday morning walking around this lake was wonderful in terms of learning how the people of Kumming relax, exercise and spend family time together. The lake and its surroundings just had a really nice vibe to it which also extends into the evening.

Went with friends to the Green Lake and found it very interesting. There were plenty of activities for elderly people and a good venue for them to socialize. Families with small kids were at the park. It was a Wednesday but it seemed like a holiday with so many people. There were food stalls. Souvenir shops.

Every winter migratory Siberian seagulls 海鸥 come here for a few weeks. The kids love them. You can feed them old bread pieces, for sale from vendors for 5 Yuan. If you hold them up, the birds will fly by and take them right out of your hand. I went yesterday, a Sunday, which is one of the busiest times.... More

In the evening you can find a small foodmarket and lots of local people dancing to traditional chinese music.

Coming here nearly right off the plane, I did not find the air particularly fresh. This is a very crowded and lively park, and it does have some pretty vistas - architecture (probably built in modern times), dancing, boating, etc. Lake itself not particularly clean and therefore suffers in comparison to, say, Erhai. If you've been to other parks around... More

Good to see many activities here. If you walk, you could find many interesting store which sell many things including the Chinese tea. There are... More
