Lots of eateries and shops around - great for the shopping queens. If you are food court kind of person, Xiangyun Food City is located at Baoshan Rd which is parallel with Dongfeng West St / Nanping Jie. Else, there are hotpot restaurants and cozy boutique cafes on Nanqiang Pedestrian St.

Nanping Business Street was supposed to be a shopping destination, but the REAL action is on Zheng Yi street (which intersects Nanping). Zheng Yi is the Fifth Avenue or Michigan Avenue of Kunming, and the place to go for shopping.
