Need a lot of walking, but a beautiful place and with legend too. The Dragon Fountain Temple where there is a running water which one can filled up a bottle to drink, for health, for good luck as you think. There is fish in the pool and beautiful flowers in the area. We captured the beautiful sunset view when we were strolling around the pool during our visit there.

I cannot remember how much I paid but it seemed quite pricey for entering a park. I think it was something like 50Yuan.
The walk is quick but apart from the tower you see in all the photos, there is nothing much. It can easily be done in 1h (depending where you enter the park from).
It's walking distance from the old town and the walk is ok. If you do it, you'll walk along a statue of Mao and some shopping area with a few clothing stores, food and electronics.

Spent half a day here in this beautiful, typical Chinese park. Lovely stream running through, lovely flowers, plum blossom in season, azaleas, bonsai etc. The pool itself has the legend of being different colour water on each side, and fish on one side will not swim to the other. Entry fee 20RMB, get there by bus 9 from North Railway Station, or subway to Luongtou Rd (last stop but one) & bus 9 or walk from there. Well worth a visit. Do not confuse with park of same name in Lijiang.

Easily accessible and free entry with the old city entry ticket. Good for a relaxing afternoon walk around the lake surrounded by rose blossoms.
