The Muslim quarter offers two markets (food and objects) as well as a moschee. It is very interesting to visit this part of the city with chinese people belonging to the muslim religion. Definitely a must in Xi'An.

Lots of stall selling allsorts of things. The meat products on sale are not refrigerated so you might want to steer clear of them. Also, watch out for all the motorbikes and small vehicles as they whizz by.

One of our favorite things we did in China!! So many things to see and buy! Lots of neat food and shops. We had a great time haggling for some souvenirs and checking out the local vendors. Worth a trip!!

A great street to walk down and capture the sights on your camera lens. Smell the spices as it is ground, watch toffee being smashed, watch the butcher slash meat off the bone for kebabs, see how yogurt is frozen and rolled up and do try the Chinese burger. A taste, sight and smell sensation.

What a kaleidoscope of activity!!!! The most mesmerizing variety of food! The most crowed place in Xi'an! This is the heartbeat of Xi'an and you must spend time here to absorb the vibes and beat of this place.

Spend afternoon and evening in this area. Absolutely loved it, huge variety of halal food. Good souvenir shopping and some general shopping. As said it's a great experience- try bits of all the different food. Enjoy for trip

This place is a perfect example of how we can live and share our culture: food, beliefs etc in harmony. Very interesting.
