Close to the City Wall and Art Quarters

If you are visiting the nearby City Wall/Gate or the adjacent Arts Street/Market, then it is worthwhile to pass by this Pagoda.

A Working Temple

Still occupied my Monks, this is a beautiful site to take a walk around. Set among lovely gardens with temple buildings, statues, and courtyards surrounding the pagoda, include this visit on your schedule.

A pagoda

This is a pagoda near the south gate of xian city wall. It is not that big or not that pretty. If you have extra time then visit take some photos.

Not Much to See Here

Just across form the City Wall South Gate entrance, this is a rather unassuming and uninteresting pagoda. there are a lot more interesting thing to see inside the old city, but that said, it is only just across the road from the South Gate, so you wouldn't be going just to see the Pagoda.

Not much here for visitors to see, very decayed and not looked after.
There's lot better sites to view in the city centre, if you are passing maybe seek it out.

All that remains today of the Baoqing Temple is this little pagoda that is situated right across the road from the South gate of the city walls. A reminder really of just how much heritage has been lost in China, even in such an historic city.
