It is a great place for locals enjoying their weekend. But not for tourists trying to seek something special and scenic. It is indeed an enormous park, which takes hours to walk around, but I don't see the point why the tickets cost around 75 Yuan. You could expect shops and amusement rides everywhere, but everything is priced. One thing... More

Very large park, but very limited things to see. Much of what there was to see carried an additional entrance fee. If it hadn't been for the wild monkeys that started playing through the trees it would have been a total waste.

Walk around the park is worth it as you can get some fantastic views of the city, but the price tag is a bit hefty for China. Also the zoo is probably the most depressing place I visited in China so far.

This park is definitely geared more towards children. Lots of games and activities for them to participate in. It is nice to stroll around the park and to spot the wild monkeys. We didn't pay any extra to visit the caves or zoo. A friend went to the zoo and said it was extremely depressing. Highlight was the monkeys and... More

Slightly disappointed with this place, it was RMB70 to get in and seemed more geared to children (zoo, climbing wall, tree climbing etc). There are some nice paths and a couple take you up, up, up (200-300 steps) which are ok but the views are mainly of rooftops! I enjoyed the butterflies and the monkeys were fun to watch. Some... We had a really enjoyable time looking through the cave and spent about 1 hour walking through and enjoying the area. There is a guided tour that goes every 30 minutes so make sure you join one as the guides can speak fluent English. The cave is about 1km in walking distance and the use of lighting gives the caves... More

I think it's about 70RMB per person to get into the park and then you have to pay separately to view a cave onsite and a zoo. Thankfully, somebody at the hotel told us that the cave wasn't really worth it and that Reed Flute Cave was far better. We also weren't particularly interested in seeing the zoo as that... More

Put your walking shoes on to experience this large park. We toured the 7 Star cave, which was lovely, however the only commentary is in Chinese, although highlights have English signage.

The surrounding area of the park (the Karsks and mountains) are lovely the the park itself is not the nicest. We didn't visit the zoo partially based on other reviews and partially based on the experience in the rest of the park. The cave is nice but there are nicer caves in the area (Reed Flute Cave in particular). The... More
