We quite like the cave. There is an enormous cavern which we found interesting. There are some photographers to help you take pictures at special locations at a price.

We spent an hour here. The whole set up just has me questioning the authenticity of the cave. There are tons of formations to see though. The steps are not difficult to climb at the beginning. There are snacks available. Western toilet facilities are clean.

Impressive if you've never been in a cave. Doesn't compare to Carlsbad Caverns or Kartcher. Interior lighting makes the complex appear fake. Projected lightshows 1960 technology.

The cave is very beautiful, must see if you have small children or elderly in the group as this one is easier to access and walk through than the silver cave, that can be arduous for them. The cave is well lit, and the titles...More

Awesome. Beautiful sights. The interactive display toward the end is interesting too. The formations are breathtaking and craftily lit using modern technology. One thing to be aware of though, is to wear non slippery shoes.

A must see when in Guilin. Brilliant lighting, and large, great for photo's. Quite a few steps but well worth the effort.

A series of large caves and channels. May not be the worlds' largest but certainly the beauty, intricacy and variety of the stalactite and stalagmite formations are the best i have seen anywhere in the world. Many are lit with coloured lights, which is a...More

We were really looking forward to seeing the natural attractions of Guilin and I have to say that it lived up to our expectations. Our excellent guide, Henry, whose English and knowledge of the area were highly commendable, showed us the sites of the city,...More

We (family of 3) visited the cave when it opened in the morning so unlike some other reviewers here, we did not find it crowded. We travelled by bus from the centre of Guilin, a journey of about 10-15 minutes and 1 Yuan fare. Yes...More

Apparently this cave is one of the smaller ones in the area but it was huge in my opinion as I didn't have time to see the others. This one is fairly close to Guilin and it is stunning.

Hi, I am planning on taking a taxi from my hotel the Lijiang Waterfall to the Reed Flute Cave. I would like to know will I be able to catch a taxi back to the hotel? Planning on doing this solo.
