We took a nighttime boat ride around the lake and under all of the replica famous bridges from around the world. The yin and yang pavilions are pretty all lit up. There are tableau performances of dancing and singing all along the way. The best part was the demonstrations of cormorant fishing, which was fascinating yet seems cruel to the... More

We walked all around the park one evening, sat on rocks by the lake, watched people taking dance classes. Wonderful and relaxing.

A very well designed park and refuge in the center of a busy city. Walked around all of it and parts of the various lakes during the day and night, and especially liked how the trees, bridges, pagodas, and other structures were lit up at night in various colors (I didn't find this kitschy at all). Paid to go into... More

We walked around the park and lake after sitting in an all day business meeting. It is an easy walk with great view of the sun and moon pagodas on the lake.

If you have an hour to kill and fancy a leg stretch this place is perfect. It's simply a small park mostly filled with a lake and a couple of spectacular pagodas. Certainly worth seeing if you're in Guilin.

Perfect little hotel on a quiet spot, a 5 minute walk around the lake to this sight. Both day and night its beautiful. The street... More
