Also known as the Guangdong and Canton river, the Pearl River is the third largest river in China. It is called Pearl River, because it has a stone island resembling a huge pearl. A cruise along the Pearl River in Guangzhou City has become a must for tourists.

Walked along the river and also took the tram from canton tower to party pier along the river. It’s similar to any other river side and lots of city views and nothing much else. You will see local fishermen fishing for tortoises along the side.
